Hometown
Bank, independently owned by Hometown Bancorp, Ltd., has its charter
located in St. Cloud, Wisconsin. From the time it was formed as
the State Bank of St. Cloud in 1907, through its name change to
Hometown Bank in June of 1998, up through the present, the Bank
has had the same philosophy and distinguished tradition of providing
customer service excellence.
Hometown
Bank currently has Wisconsin based locations in Fond du Lac (2), St.
Cloud, Wautoma, Ripon, Campbellsport, Appleton and Mayville. Each Bank is
a full service banking facility that provides a broad array of products,
quality customer service, and is actively involved in its community.
Hometown
Bank's focus is on its customers in each of the communities in which
it is located. For that reason, its philosophy has been to provide
relationship banking to its customers in the most convenient manner
possible. This has guided the development of its complimentary products.
For
our consumer or retail customers, Hometown Bank offers free checking
that includes a free debit card. Our tiered money market account
is indexed to national money market interest rates and carries a
low minimum balance. Accessing your account is free through either
our no charge automated teller machines, telephone voice response
unit, or through on-line banking on our internet website.
Hometown
Bank also provides affordable home financing, as it is an approved
originator, seller, and servicing agent of both Fannie Mae and Freddie
Mac. These designations enable our customers to obtain either long-term
fixed or adjustable interest rate financing in the purchase or refinance
of their home. The benefit is that the servicing is retained locally
by Hometown Bank, which allows our customers to make their payments
at their choice of one of our branches, by mail, or electronically.
For
our business or commercial customers, Hometown Bank is a specialist
in small business lending. We provide guidance to our customers
in restructuring their balance sheets in order to maximize their
profitability. As such, the Bank is a Preferred Lender (PLP) with
the U.S. Small Business Administration and extensively uses other
government programs such as the USDA Rural Development Program.
These programs in conjunction with our ability to syndicate large
loan relationships has grown Hometown Bank's servicing portfolio
to over $150 million in commercial loan commitments.
In
order to provide a comprehensive relationship to our small business
customers, Hometown Bank also provides a variety of support products
such as cash management, direct deposit, investments, on-line banking,
and bill pay services.
Through
our affiliation with Hometown Bancorp, Ltd. we have access to a
wide variety of non-traditional products and services including
investments, insurance, leasing, and non-conforming loan products.
Our belief is that the customers, employees, and shareholders all
must mutually benefit from our existence and not at each other's
expense. We believe that "Hometown Values" regardless
of the size of the community are the cornerstone of our success.
If you've done business elsewhere and after you've had an opportunity
to let us serve you, you'll realize
"There's no place
like Hometown Bank!"
